content Today I had to drive to Palm Beach Lakes Blvd to give my dad some stuff he forgot at the house. He got me lunch at Chick-fil-a for my troubles, and then I headed over to Best Buy to browse their ever improving foreign DVD selection. I splurged and got Ichi the Killer (sorry Leigh, it was only $11.99!) and Gozu, two of the most fucked up Takashi Miike movies you can get your hands on. You may remember the entries I did when I saw Ichi for the first time... heh. Gozu is like a drugged out horror screwball comedy, which I haven't seen yet. So it's a blind buy, but hey, the DVD cover enticed me. And I just watched the trailer for Gozu on the DVD... ha ha ha one of the characters apparently thinks squashing puppies is hilarious. Yeah, they show it.
Working Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Somebody has to pay for my DVD splurging. hehe.
